By the second day Flynn was looking far better. You can still see his lump on his head (top right) from where they tried to use the ventouse on him and failed. He had a large circular bruise where the suction was applied. They ended up having to use forceps on him to get him out but the surgeon left very little marking where the force was applied. During the night he played up and the nurses took him for an hour whilst Alex got some sleep. Whilst they had him they bathed him and got all the blood out of his hair.
Even at 8lb 15oz he is a wee bit smaller than I. |
